Good morning. On the 7:30AM into the City.
The train car is one of the older late-70’s models with a higher-backed seat. This limits my line of sight. Thankfully, there are some fascinating people here in view.
There is an couple sitting up top, clearly grandparents, with their pre-teen grandchildren, on the way into the City for the lakeshore festival in progress. They are clearly uncomfortable with taking the train, perhaps because there are so many people on the train who look like those folks that the Cable News says are “evil” and “Enemies of America”. How are these … foreigners….allowed to travel into the big City unescorted. Surely there us an undercover security officer on the train should an incident occur! The children are feeling the same vibe as their grandparents, although the grandson looks to be more curious than afraid.
Up top, that Adam Levine fellow is seated, sunglasses and stud-muffiny. I know nothing about why Adam Levine is a judge on a popular talent competition show. Nor does Adam Levine, except to say he is quite good at acting the part.
In front of Adam is a young Bob Dylan. Bob is wearing the retro cap with short brim to hold his curly unkempt hair. He has on a grey striped blousy looking shirt and hip-hugging blue jeans, which are perfect for his lithe figure. His sunglasses, necessary for the bright day, complete the hip rocker outfit.
Also here are a former Catholic choir boy, Denzel Washington, Imelda Marcos, Anil Kapoor and Donald Sutherland. All are armed.
Happy Thursday. Safe Travels.
